Flowers for Mum...

Hello everyone!! :)

Just popping in to share the card I made for my mum for Mother's Day this year... I was pleased with this for several reasons- I had fun making it; I liked the end result; it was finished a week before Mother's Day (a record for me and very helpful to the stress levels!! lol); I managed to use no less than four stamp sets/dies from my SMS Challenge drawer on this one card (Go me!! ;D ); and last but definitely not least... my mum loved it, too... which is the most important thing, but the others help, too!! lol

Anyway, here it is...

A pretty, springlike card... perfect for Mother's Day :)

I borrowed the sentiment from Jen when she was over here the weekend before M's Day and it was the perfect centre piece on one of my new Nesties with a bit of texture from my amazing PTI Linen Plate. The stunning flowers are from WMS and I can't quite believe they have been in unused 'til now :S But I used the newly released matching die set, too, and it worked out just as I was hoping... always a bonus!! lol

I also decorated the insert as this was a special card for a special person!! :)

{The List}

Cardstock - A6 top-fold blank - Papermill Direct - Pink Smooth, White Plain
Stamps - Waltzingmouse Stamps - Funky Flowers; SU! - 'Happy Mother's Day' (don't know the name- sorry!)
Dies - Waltzingmouse Stamps - Funky Flowers Die Set; Spellbinders - Nestablities Labels 16; PTI - Linen and Canvas Impression Plate
Inks - Hero Arts Shadow Inks - Soft Purple, Soft Blue, Soft Pink; VersaMagic - Thatched Straw, Aloe Vera
Tools - Cuttlebug, one half of a pair of broken scissors to distress edges
Finishing Touches - Clear Wink of Stella Brush Pen

No challenges for this one, I just wanted to share :) I'm not sure how much I'll be around in the next few weeks as I have friends coming to stay next week and so don't expect to have much spare time or energy... I am so excited to see them- last time they came, they were only able to pop in for a few hours, this time we get several days!! :) I will, however, have a couple of scheduled posts going up for a fun GDT stint during May!! :) If I can remember how to do a DT post after so long, that is!! ;) Thanks for stopping by today... have a lovely week everyone!! :)

Butterfly Wishes...

Hello folks!! :)

Well, with the aid of my new and much, much zippier netbook/notebook, I have been catching up with editing the huge stash of card pics that have been building up recently... the snail-like pace of my old netbook made editing photos sooo difficult that I could hardly bare to try as I could only get through just a couple before my energy levels/eye/head pain made me have to stop :S ... and that's not even mentioning all the unmentionable things I've uttered (or screeched?!) in sheer frustration at it over the last year!! ;D Anyway, much better now and, as I now have quite a queue of cards to share, I thought I should get on with it!! So here is one I made a month or so ago for my lovely friend Elaine's birthday...

This is a very different looking card for me... the deep coloured card base, busy patterned papers etc., but I was so pleased with how it turned out!! :) And as any of you who know Elaine will know- butterflies were, of course, obligatory!! :)

I used a whole host of new stash on this card- MFT flag dies, papers, gorgeous purple cardstock for the base card and the fab CBS Framed Sentiments stamp set I had been dying to get my hands on... and which fits pefectly in my fav Nesties- yay!! :) - along with my fav CBS Butterfly dies...

I used my new Fishtail Flag die for the sentiment, running it through my 'bug twice to get the shaping at both ends... love this soo much and have done it many times since!!lol

{The List}
A6 Top-fold card blank- Purple Grape from Papermill Direct
Papers- Teresa Collins Fabrications (free gift with Cardmaking & Papercraft mag last month)
Dies - Clearly Besotted Stamps Butterfly Wishes, Nesties Labels 18, MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax
Stamps - Clearly Besotted Framed Sentiments and Spring Blooms (sentiment)
VersaMagic Inkpads - Wheat, Tea Leaves and Purple Hydrangea & Perfect Plumeria mixed on stamp to get colourmatch with papers
2mm gems from Anita's/Docrafts

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges: Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes (so long as multiple entries are allowed?) :) ; The Ribbon Girl - Use A Die-cut :) ; The Hobby House - Anything Goes :)

Thank you for stopping by today and for any comments... I so miss blogland when I have to take a break... but hopefully I'll be back again before too long this time!! :) Hope you're all well and get to enjoy our lovely taste of summer this week!! I have my hairdresser coming tomorrow afternoon so can't afford the energy to go outside today and may not make it before the weather turns depending on how much it takes out of me and how long it takes to recover but it's so nice just to be warm and have the lovely sunlight through the windows anyway!! :)

A little more LOTV... :)

Hello again folks!! :)

Yup, it really is me back so soon!!lol I couldn't believe my luck this morning when I saw that the new LOTV challenge was CAS... and I actually managed to get a card that would be perfect for it posted- *last* night!! Typical!!lol But that and the fact I so rarely get to enter over there has persuaded me to get on and post this one, which also fits but had been pushed back in my mental posting queue by the CBS cards I mentioned last night...anyway, this one is from the archives (ie. one of many on my computer I just haven't got to posting yet!!) and was made last October for my Gran's birthday...

I wanted to keep her card calm and soothing as my Gran had lost her sister suddenly the week or so before... I knew she would still appreciate a pretty and cheerful card to celebrate her birthday but didn't want to send anything too bright and jarring or overly fussy... after much head-scratching, I remembered this lovely little LOTV bear and created one of my fav big scalloped circle cards to sit her on- I always think a circular base card makes a card look special even if the rest of it is very simple!! :)

I coloured with PMs and FMs in gentle, pretty tones and added just a smidge of Stickles, then dug out my last whole piece (eeek- only for someone really special!!) of my fav paper from the FF Pink Parfait range and some matching seam-binding...

A sublte white-embossed sentiment, some white layers and a few white pearls brought it all together... perhaps not as CAS as some of my recent creations but I think the limited, pale colour palette with plenty of white keeps it pretty simple and fresh... and my Gran was really pleased with it... so nice to have made her smile!! :)

{The List}

6" Sq. white card blank
Nesties - Grand Big Scalloped Circles, Big Scalloped Circles Large and Standard Circles dies
LOTV Posy Trio image, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers (sorry, no colours again... too long ago!!)
Paper - Forever Friends Pink Parfait pad
Blue textured pearl cardstock (from QVC many moons ago)
X-cut Scalloped border punch
Sentiment - LOTV
White Embossing Powder and heat tool
Seam Binding - Tile Blue from The Ribbon Girl
White 4mm pearls
Crystal Stickles

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges: Lili's Little Fairies - Clean and Simple :) ; Jen's CAS Mondays with LOTV (if it's CAS enough for you Jen?!) :) ; Papertake Weekly - Bingo (Glitter, Diecuts, Blooms is the one I've chosen but I think it would fit several lines!!) :) ; Joanna Sheen - Spring into Spring :) ; The Ribbon Girl - Just Add Flowers :)

Well, that's it from me for now... I hope you're all well- thanks for stopping by today and for your lovely comments!! :) See you again soon I hope- though maybe not quite so soon as this time!! :)

Summer’s here... at Dream Valley at least!! ;)

Hello there!! :)

I’m back again with another fab new challenge over at Dream Valley- and very timely it is too, seeing as the sun has decided to come out to play at long last here in my little bit of the UK at least!! :) So, if you haven’t already guessed, our theme this fortnight is ‘Summer’ and we are sponsored by Squiggle Stamps!! :)

Now, my card may not immediately scream summer as many of the gorgeous creations from the rest of our fab DT do but, as my health means no chance of going on a ‘sun, sea and sand’ type holiday (or even a ‘rainy English summer’ type one, come to that!!lol), I thought I would make my card reflect what this summer means to me... which, with the Jubilee last month and now the Olympics starting so very soon, is a celebration of all things British... oh, and a simply gorgeous SC digi ‘cause I love it!! :)

So, I have used my Portobello Road papers, stamps and buttons with some kraft card and Distress Inks to give this card a lovely vintagey-London feel... this is one of those cards that just came together so easily and enjoyably from the first moment of colouring to the last touch of embellishment- a challenge can be good but I just love the times when creativity just flows, don’t you!?!! :)

This image is my one of my fav SCs, I think- which is saying something as I love so many of them!! :) – I just think she looks so beautiful in her gorgeous dress, with that flowing long hair and the butterflies as the perfect finishing touch... everything about it just says summer to me, too, so perfect for this challenge!! :) I coloured with PMs, of course, using some new colour combos inspired by the Portobello papers... that’s what I love about paper packs- they challenge me to get out of my colour comfort zone... in fact, I have a pad on my desk at the mo’ which I would never have bought had I seen half the papers in it as it contains one of my most hated colour combos of purple and yellow... but, I’m actually still glad I got it as it has made me work with PMs which I have probably never even picked up before and, even if I don’t *love* the results, I’m pleased to have met the colouring challenge!!lol

I stamped Big Ben and the Postcard from the lovely Portobello stamp set on a piece of the Portobello paper, trimmed and distressed- the detail stamps so well, too!! :) - and then tucked them in behind the image... I was going for a bit of a clustered look with all my little extra embellies... not sure it was quite how I planned... but I like it anyway!! :)

Another of my little crocheted flowers with a button and twine and a little seam binding to finish it all off... I’m liking that I can have the Union Jack feel to the colours without necessarily needing to have bright red and royal blue as that’s not really me!! :)

The List:
  • 6” sq. Scalloped cream card blank (Craftwork Cards)
  • Saturated Canary digi- Cerridwen
  • PMs (mostly) to colour (I actually can’t find my pic of the pens I used for this but have tried to piece it together from other pics/lists and my v dodgy memory, think it’s right, though!! :S): Dress- Cardinal Red, Antique Pink and Dusky Rose; Butterflies- Indigo Blue, True Blue, China Blue and Blue Pearl; Gloves- White Pearl (Spectrum Noir), Blue Pearl and Glacier Blue (FlexMarker) – had a bit of an indecisive moment over colour with the gloves!!lol; Skin- Satin, Blush, and Dusky Pink with Sunkissed Pink for cheeks; Hair- Caramel, Cocoa, Henna, Walnut, Umber, Burnt Umber; White Pearl around image and Ivory PM all over the white cardstock to tone in
  • Spellbinders Nestie Labels 17
  • Kraft card stock
  • Papermania Portobello Road papers, stamps and buttons
  • VersaFine Vintage Sepia
  • Scissors to Distress
  • Distress Inks- Antique Linen and Vintage Photo
  • Tile Blue seam binding from The Ribbon Girl
  • One of my little crocheted flowers in pink embroidery thread
  • Ivory button twine from TRG
  • Sakura Clear Stardust pen and waterbrush
  • Ivory Flat-backed Pearls

...phew- long list!!lol

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges: Papertake Weekly - All Things Girly :) ; Fab 'n; Funky - Make Your Own Flowers :) ; Divas by Design - Anything Goes :) ; Allsorts - Distressing :) ; Charisma - Your favourite Animal (Butterflies, if they are big enough on my card to count?!) :)

Okay, that’s it from me for now- thank you so much for stopping by and reading my waffle and I hope you like this one!! :) Pleased pop over to the DVblog to see the rest of my teamies fab summer creations and I hope you get some lovely sunshine to inspire you to join in wherever you are!! :) Hope you’re all well and have a lovely week... I’m hoping to make the most of the sun out in the garden while we’ve got it!! :)

A Vintage Christmas... and Anything But Square at Dream Valley :)

Hello!! :)

Well, I’m finally here to share my card for our latest challenge over at Dream Valley- I’m exceptionally late with this as it should have been posted last Sunday but I’ve had a mixture of feeling really quite ill and trying to catch up with all the things I’ve not got round to doing due to feeling so rotten for the last month so have only just managed to get on my netbook to type this up... but, as we are a fortnightly challenge, you do still have another week to enter... so, I’d best get straight on then!! :S Our challenge this time is ‘Anything But Square’ and as always, any type of creation from cards to jewellery, scrap layouts and altered items will be welcome... just so long as it’s not square!! ;) We’re sponsored by OSCC and Meljen's Designs this time!! :)

And this is my belated offering...

It’s actually the card I made for my mum for Christmas last year... I had a pretty little circle card I made specially for this challenge, photos taken, edited and ready well in advance... but, when I came to upload the pic for the challenge blog... yup- I couldn’t find them anywhere!! How hopeless!! I’m normally unusually organised with my card pics- have to be with my permanently befuddled brain!! :S – but they seem to have disappeared completely... so I’ll share those when I’ve re-edited the originals and, in the meantime (whilst trying not to panic!!lol), I managed to find this one ‘not square’ card in my overflowing folder of as-yet-unposted bits and pieces...

It’s an A5 top-fold card with a panel of the same card matted on and is almost entirely made from Waltzing Mouse Christmas sets... I just love Claire’s Christmas designs so much- they really make me feel the magic of Christmas and it seems basically impossible to make anything but a lovely card from them!! :) I used a Spellbinder’s die with Claire’s co-ordinating stamp and a WMS sentiment for the focal point and then made a frame and branch for the bauble to hang from with the gorgeous Festive Foliage set.

The only non- WMS stamp was the ‘’Twas the night before Christmas’ poem from Inkylicious (another company whose stamps I love!!lol), which I stamped all over the background in Antique Linen DI to tone in with the AL edging around the whole panel. I also smeared some Antique Linen Distress Stickles all around the edges, too... I had so much fun with this card, I love doing things like this!!lol

And a close-up of the decoupaged pine cone branch and my six-loop bow (only meant it to be four loops but I was getting carried away!!lol) in gorgeous Venetian Red seam binding :)

The List:
  • Top Fold A5 off-white Linen card blank (made from A3 card), plus almost A5 piece for image panel
  • Stamps- Festive Foliage, Compliments of the Season & Vintage Ornaments from Waltzing Mouse Stamps and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas from Inkylicious
  • Inks- VersaFine Vintage Sepia & Olympia Green and Antique Linen DI
  • VersaMark, Gold embossing powder and heat tool
  • Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments Dies
  • Venetian Red Seam Binding from The Ribbon Girl
  • Antique Linen Distress Stickles

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges: Divas by Design – Christmas in July :) ; Crafter's Companion - Ho Ho Ho Christmas :)

So that’s it from me for now- do pop over to Dream Valley to see the fab creations from the rest of the DT... you still have a week to enter!! :) I’ll see you soon, I hope- if my brain and body play nice and let me get anything done, that is!! :S I hope you’re all well and have a good week- thank you for stopping by and bearing with me and my haphazard blogging habits!! :)

ETA: No idea what the strange and not very pretty white background to some of my text is but I can't get rid of it so please just ignore it, it's not intentional!! :/

Mice are nice for Mother’s Day.. :)

Hey folks!! :)

I’m back to finally share an actual card with you... been trying to get here all week but, well, life keeps getting in the way :S I did actually make my first card in a month last week (yay!! :) kind of a relief as I was beginning to wonder if how long the card drought would last!!lol) but it’s my DT project for this weekend’s challenge at Dream Valley so will have to wait to share that... in the meantime though, I have the card I made for my Mum for Mother’s Day to share :)

When I sat down to make this the night before M’s Day, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do beyond using this particular gorgeous stamp and one of the paper doilies I got from Joanna Sheen last year (and were still sitting unopened!! Tut tut!!lol)... so I looked through my papers, found some I loved, decided the best colour match for them would be my DIs not PMs and then that, as I didn’t need to use blending card without pens, I would stamp onto cream card for a change and go for a much softer vintage/shabby look... and that’s the whole process in a nutshell... all that was left was the doing... which took quite a while and would have been better for me spread over a couple of days, but I loved making it- which was a first in a while- and I, and most importantly my mum, loved the result, too!! :)

The stamp is, of course, LOTV and I got it in their sale before Xmas last year- I just love the cute little mice and the pretty flowers are positioned so well for a great spread of colour :) My desk was virtually invisible under all the DI pads I used... I’ll try to list those I can remember later but it may not help much as I did my usual when watercolouring and mixed everything with a bit of everything else so it all toned in!!lol The colours of the DIs worked so, so well with the beautiful Desert Blooms papers!! :)

I cut circles into spirals for the flowers myself- I don’t have a rolled flower die as I don’t make them often enough to justify it... and to be honest, I kind of like the more uneven appearance you get from cutting them yourself anyway :) I’ve not tried putting pearls in the centres before, though, and had a right faff with the largest flower as the pearl kept falling into it sideways... ended up shoving a screwed up bit of towel roll in the gap first to hold it up... but no one need ever know that, right!?!!!lol Oh, and I inked the doily with Antique Linen DI to tone it in with the cream of the card and then spritzed it with Perfect Pearls mist for a pretty shimmer :)

The List:
  • 6" Sq. scalloped cream card blank
  • LOTV Mice Are Nice Flower Shop image stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa
  • Distress inks to colour- Victorian Velvet, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky
  • First Edition Desert Blooms papers
  • Nesties- Labels 17 and Circles (for the flowers)
  • Marianne D Leafy Swirl (Branch Garden) die
  • Frond Die from Memory Box
  • Xcut Scalloped border punch
  • Doily from Joanna Sheen
  • Perfect Pearls Shimmer Mist in Pearl
  • LOTV Postage Stamp Sentiments set plus tiny flower from an old Woodware clear set
  • Cream Cotton Lace from The Ribbon Girl
  • 8mm white and 4mm Mink Flat-backed pearls
  • Sakura Clear Stardust pen

I’m actually going to enter this in a few challenges this time, so it’s going into the following: Lili’s Little Fairies – Diamonds and Pearls (the diamonds are the glitter in the papers and on the image) :) ; Joanna Sheen – Someone Special :) ; Crafter’s Companion – Four-legged Friends :) ; Charisma –Shabby Chic :) ; Cupcake Craft Challenge – Material Girl (if my lace is sufficient fabric-ness?!) :)

Right, that’s it from me for today then- thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments!! :) I’ll be back again on Sunday with my DV card- it’s a fab challenge this time, the DT have all loved it so make sure you check it out then!! :)

A Brave New World... and a Mother’s Day card :)

Hey there folks!! :)

Hope you’re all well and had a lovely Easter!! :) Now, don’t worry, I’m not going all literary on you- the brave new world of my title has nothing to do with Aldous Huxley and everything to do with crochet!! ;) I thought as a couple of people were lovely enough to say they wanted to see my first crochet attempts that I should get on here to share before it’s time for my next Dream Valley post at the weekend...

I have been feeling very down and stressed recently as well as struggling with the usual physical symptoms of my M.E. being worse and found even making cards was increasing the stress rather than helping it as it usually would, which is why I have left the paper stash alone for a while and have been trying other things instead... the first of which was crochet :) I have wanted to have a go at it for years but have put it off because I knew I would find it painful on my hands and, well, there are just always so many cards to make and other things (like computers and phones and generally everything!!) to make my hands hurt that I haven’t got round to it... but one night I decided it was the perfect breather from cards and so, armed with two books, a YouTube instruction vid (here) for a simple beginner’s flower on my phone and my mum (to translate all the jargon!!), I had a go :)

To say I can now crochet would be a huge overstatement... but I can now crochet this particular little flower!!lol Took a long time and a lot of patience from my lovely mum but I got there in the end!! :) I did find it hard on my hands but was able to do more than I expected that first evening... the hardest part was actually the counting and remembering the pattern as my concentration and memory are basically shot atm thanks to the M.E.- don’t know how I’d get on with anything more complicated!!lol

I started with some old wool but it’s cheap acrylic and was splitting and fluffing up too much to really see what I was doing (especially when I’d pulled it apart after getting it wrong ten times over!!lol) so I moved on to some old embroidery thread which was much easier :) The nice thing about making these little flowers (only 4cm-ish across) is that they will lend themselves to cardmaking so I haven’t wasted any energy or thread... always a plus!! :)

I then decided to try and make a multi-coloured one (I was running out of long enough bits of thread at this point as I only had a few leftovers from my friendship bracelet- making youth!!lol) and a few days later, I used it to make one of my Mother’s Day cards...

I was all about the simple approach with this one as it should have been in the post already and, frankly, I really wasn’t in the mood for faffing with paper!! :S I used my Blossom Nesties ‘cos a) they’re small so less space to fill and b) they’re pretty enough to look good with little faff :) A bit of paper, a fab WMS stamp set and some pearls later and I had a reasonably nice, very easy card!! :)

The List:
  • White card blank
  • Blossom Nesties
  • Forever Friends Springtime paper pad
  • Waltzingmouse Teeny Trees stamps set
  • Tea Leaves and Pixie Dust VersaMagic chalk ink pads
  • Cat’s Life Press sentiment stamp
  • Tiny butterfly punch (from Lakeland years ago)
  • Sakura Clear Stardust pen
  • Pink Flat-backed pearls
  • oh- and 1 small crocheted flower :)

Well, there you have it... my first attempts at crochet :) It was tricky in ways I didn’t expect and, to be honest, the concentration issues may pose more of a barrier to doing more complex things than the pain would so will have to wait and see if I can progress to bigger and better things... but if not/until then, I can make some cute little embellies!!lol At the mo’ I’m knitting a shawl (having not knitted for a couple of years because of pain, either) and I’m hoping I’ll finally have it finished in time to share with you at the weekend!! :)

It’s time for a wedding over at Dream Valley!! :)

Hey everyone :)

How are you all out there in blogland? Hope you’re all well and enjoyed the lovely sunshine we’ve been having... let’s hope it comes back soon!! :) So, a little post from me today to show I’m still alive... you’ve probably figured I’m still not feeling so great, and I’ve actually been taking a little break from cardmaking and blogging, but I had this card ready and waiting and wanted to join in the fun at Dream Valley this fortnight... it’s a bit of a special one as one of our lovely team, Mel, is getting married today and so our challenge theme this time is ‘Weddings/Love’ in her honour!! :) We are sponsored by OSCC :)

I made this card last year for some friends and really worked to get as many personal touches in as I could... I wasn’t able to go to their wedding as I can’t travel so the card was my way of sending love and happy wishes for their lives together :)

I knew they were having a vintagey theme with birdcages and that their bridesmaids were wearing deep red so I strayed from my usual safe wedding card combo (white and silver with a hint of the accent colour if I know it, usually pearlescent card and never any patterned DPs!!) and went for something completely different, looking around for a way to include all the aspects... and I was really pleased with the outcome... but you always wonder if you’ve got it right don’t you... so when I got a thank you card telling me how much they loved it and mentioning all the bits I’d managed to include, it made me so, so happy!! :)

I heat embossed the gorgeous LOTV image and painted it with Twinkling H2Os- three different shades of white for a bit of interest!!lol- and chalk pastels for the suit and skin/hair as I didn’t want those to be pearly :) I inked the edges of all the papers for depth and interest, too.

I created a cluster of papers, pins, charm and lace next to the image panel to draw the eye in, inking the lace with the same DI to take the edge of the whiteness and looping one of the pins to attach the charm. The papers I found are so lovely and gave me vintage look I wanted so easily :)

I added my friends’ initials in DI- which did come out rather stronger than I envisaged :S – and then heat embossed ‘Congratulations’ over the top.

I looked all over for birdcage charms but couldn’t find any at the time- I did, of course, very soon after!!lol- so looked for an svg cut file online instead and struck lucky :) The idea to use it as a mask was a last minute one but I think it looked better like that thank if I had just stuck the die-cut on :)

The List:
  • Two 6” Sq. White card blanks to make the base
  • Image – ‘Mr & Mrs’ from LOTV
  • Versamark ink pad, Silver embossing powder and heat tool
  • Twinkling H20s and chalk pastels to watercolour
  • Papers from Basic Grey Cappella pad and V&A Hanoverian Collection pad (DoCrafts)
  • Labels 18 Nesties and Nellie’s Doily dies
  • Distress Ink in Pumice Stone
  • Bird with Cage svg file - We Can Bea Original
  • ‘Congratulations’ stamp from Cat’s Life Press and alphas from Lakeland years ago
  • Lace, pins, charm and ivory flat-backed pearls from stash

I haven’t really got much clue what challenges are around at the mo’ and don’t really feel like searching any out or linking them up but, I did notice there is an Anything Goes challenge at Lili’s Little Fairies and I so rarely get the chance to enter there that I can’t resist that one!! :)

So, thank you for stopping by today and for any comments on this or my last couple of cards!! :) I don’t know how long my ‘little break’ from cardmaking will last- it’s entirely unprecedented for me to choose not to make cards as cardmaking is usually my ‘little break’ from the rest of my life and not something I can cope without, so I don’t really know what to make of it :S - but I’ll be back sometime soon-ish, I hope... maybe I’ll even share my first forays into crochet as I have finally got around to having a go at that after years of wanting to... seems I simply can’t not do anything creative at all so have been crocheting a bit and knitting- when I’ve not had my nose in a book that is... if that saying still works when you’re reading a Kindle!?!!lol

Don’t forget to pop over to Dream Valley to check out the amazing creations from the rest of the team- including some fab new members this time, too!! :) – and just have a look at the beautiful Wishing Well Mel has made for her Wedding Day!! :)
