Happy Hallowe'en :D :D

Hello all!! :D

Now, I know I said I was going to take a break from posting for a few days but I just had to share my first ever pumpkin with you on Hallowe'en... meet Dracula...

mmwahahaha!!lol

I don't normally get very excited about Hallowe'en but I seem to have got the bug this year and I have to say I had a great time having a go at carving this fella, especially as, after needing to borrow some elbow grease (thanks mum!!lol) to dig out his insides, I actually managed to carve the face myself!! Hands don't like me much now so might not manage any colouring tonight but never mind!!lol

Hope you're all having a fab and spooky night (or at least not getting driven mad by trick or treaters if it's not your thing!!lol)!! ;D ;D

Happy Hallowe'en!!! :D

Sunday 30 October 2011

Spooktacular!! ;D ;D

Hello there!! :)

I'm back again with a quick share- something I'd hoped to post yesterday but I think my inspired week caught up with me- that's the trouble with inspiration, my body can't keep up and so it's exhausting!!- and I spent all of yesterday feeling lousy and too ill to even think let alone think about writing a blog post, though I did finally feel upto managing to edit the pics ... typically, at about the time I should have been heading to bed!! lol Well, at least we had that extra hour – I put mine very good use (not!!) and slept through it…  ;)

So, onto the cards... now, I don't normally do Hallowe'en cards- in fact I think these are my first ever- but when the lovely Robin, Artist and Owner of Bows & Berries Digital Stamps Shop and the My Partner in Crafting Crime challenge, sent me a couple of digis from her fab Hallowe'en release I just knew I was going have to have a play... unfortunately, because of my aforementioned printer issues, it was kind of late in the day before I was able to, but I have managed to get a few cards made and in the post to friends!! :) Kinda had fun, too- you can let go a bit with creations for something fun like Hallowe'en, I think!! :)

These first two are using Robin's fab Silly Pumpkins- they are so fun, I love their grins!!lol I always print/stamp more than one of an image as I so often find I mess up the colouring somewhere along the line but both of these came out okay so I stamped a polka dot background straight onto two base cards- two different colours just for a bit of variety!- and embossed it... the powder didn't take brilliantly for some reason but I didn't worry too much as I knew I was going for a distressed look anyway, and then added a line of black Stickles for definition :)

I coloured with PMs- much like my pink and green card last week, a lot of these pens have probably never been used before but I'm thoroughly in experimentation mode with my PMs at the mo'- and loving it, even when the results aren't quite up to scratch, 'cause I'm still learning!! :) Then for the distressing... I often apply ink, then use my scissors or paper distresser, then add more ink (because of the white line you get just inside the edge if you distress first and the white fibres you can see if you distress second and don't apply more ink, iykwim), but this time, with two contrasting colours if ink pad sat open in front of me, I decided to try using the opposite colour the second time and, for this sort of fun card, I rather like the effect :) Oh, and I added the doodled spider's web (against all my better spider-fearing instincts!!lol) and little lines in the corners for interest... and promptly felt I'd ruined the whole thing... 'til I remembered I was going for distressed and rustic again... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!lol

Then I remembered I had printed off a couple of the gorgeous lil’ B&B 2 Cute 2 Spook ghostie, too, so thought I'd make a couple more quick little cards :) And they were very quick- dinky little 4" Sq. cards with a mat, tag for the printed greeting and bit of ink on the edges...

...and the little spook took no time to colour with just some pale grey shading and her cute little bow to worry about!! :) If you need anymore Hallowe'en cards, treat bags, decorations, etc. in a hurry for tomorrow, then I'd really recommend this digi!!lol

The List:

For the pumpkin cards:
  • 6" sq.  Scalloped On The Edge white card blank
  • Silly Pumpkins Digi image from Bows and Berries Digital Stamp Shop
  • Coloured with Promarkers – hope you won't mind but, as I seem to have used a ridiculous number of pens and have recently finally got around to labeling the ends of them all, I have taken photo and will add this after the list to save my energy (and patience!) dictating, correcting and capitalising every single pen name in my voice software!! :S (The square one is a Spectrum Noir, and the clear capped one is a Copic Blender as I find the brush tips easier for blending out to white)
  • Polka dot border stamp from Waltzing Mouse's Off Beat Background set
  • Dusty Concord DI and ???  Big and Juicy ink pads
  • Clear embossing powder and heat tool
  • Black Diamond Stickles
  • Sakura Clear Stardust and Clear Glaze pens
  • Black and purple flat-backed pearls

For the little spook card:

  • 4" sq.  White card blank
  • 2 Cute 2 Spook Digi image from Bows and Berries Digital Stamp Shop
  • Coloured with Promarkers – using colours I already had out from the pumpkins, pic above
  • White card for matting
  • Dusty Concorde DI
  • Computer generated greeting
  • Sakura Clear Stardust and Clear Glaze pens
  • 3mm and 2mm gems

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges: Dream Valley – Anything Goes :) ; SweetStampin' – Anything Goes :) ; The Secret Crafter – Spooky or Whimsical :) ; Craft Your Days Away – Autumn/Fall :) ; Charisma Cards - Anything Goes :) ; Fab'n' Funky - Hubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble :) ; Divas By Design - Something Spooky :) ; My Mum's Craft Shop - Spooktackular :)

Well, thank you for stopping by today and for all your comments on all my posts last week- think I shall be taking it a bit slower on the posting (and actual crafting :( ) front for the next little while as I need a rest but will hopefully be back with my DT card for the next FF challenge on Thursday :) In the meantime, I hope you've enjoyed my little bit of spooky fun today... and have a spooktacular night tomorrow!! ;D ;D

Autumnal Beauty...

Hello again everyone!!  :)

Well, I can't quite believe I have made it back three times in one week, but here I am with the card I made over the weekend for my step-mum's birthday, which was inspired by several challenges including the sketch and theme at Sugar Nellie :) I've used one of their gorgeous stamps which I got a couple of months ago with my step-mum's card in mind, as she's very interested in historical things and especially Tudor and Stuart times...  well, I only needed a little excuse as I didn't have any of the lovely Leanne Ellis stamps and they're so gorgeous and stylish... took me ages to decide which one I'd get, though!!  :)

I started out with the sketch and the CAS theme in mind but somewhere along the line the CAS part kind of got away from me a little!!lol And don't ask me what happened with the colours as this was totally not the colour-scheme I had in mind when I started – think regal blues and purples with maybe a dash of teal… hmmm, not quite how it came out then!!  ;)

{{  Please excuse the poor photo... it's virtually impossible to get a decent shot of something so shimmery and this doesn't do the gorgeous colours of the paints justice at all as it did look better irl!! :S  }}

I heat embossed the lovely image with the gold sparkly powder (made myself to by mixing gold powder with fine gold glitter – works a treat and you have total control over the amount of sparkle you want!! :) ) and then coloured her with my Twinkling H2O and Cosmic Shimmer watercolours as I thought the beautiful, rich colours and shimmer would suit the opulence of the image and embossing :) I added some shading with a dark brown H2O, too, which is something I've not tried before with watercolours but I like it :)

I die-cut some flowers, then spritzed them with a Mini Mister filled with the water from the pot I used to rinse my brushes whilst painting the image... I've done this before and have a little mister of pearly sparkles from a Wedding image I painted a month or so ago on my desk, too- there's just so much lovely mica left in the bottom of the pot that it seems wrong to waste it!!lol After that was dry- and I'd nearly burnt a hole in the sheet of paper I had them on with my heat tool as I was being impatient!! Ooops- just glad I didn't set the smoke alarm off!!lol- I overstamped a scroll onto them with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo DIs and inked the edges.  Then I added some Antique Linen Distress Stickles – I LOVE this stuff!! :) – to the edges of the card and flowers, just smeared on with my finger!!  ;D

The greeting is a Cat's Life Press stamp and it is sooo gorgeous- simple but interesting, if you know what I mean?! ;) - and is also embossed :)

Then the CAS bit started unraveling as it just didn't seem to look right with just the couple of pale swirls I'd planned to stamp as foliage coming from behind the flower... too plain for the luxurious image, I think!! So, I went a bit mad with the swirls and then inked the edges, too!! :) Personally, I think it is still CAS as there's no matting and layering and minimal embellishment but I know some of the stricter CAS-loving ladies out there will say the lack of white space means it doesn't pass muster... good job the theme's optional then!!lol

The List:

  • 6" Sq. cream card blank
  • Gorgeous image 'If Only' by Leanne Ellis from Sugar Nellie
  • Versamark ink pad, gold sparkle embossing powder and heat tool
  • Twinkling H2O and Cosmic Shimmer watercolour paints
  • Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die
  • Homemade shimmer mist
  • Viva Decor swirl stamps
  • Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks
  • Antique Linen Distress Stickles
  • Gold flat-backed pearls

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges: The Sugar Bowl - sketch by Maria Therese and optional theme of CAS (which I may or may not have followed, depending on your viewpoint!! ;) ) :) ; Sarah Hurley - Misting :) ; OSCC - No DPs :) ; Bows & Berries- Colour Challenge (I have yellow/gold, orange, brown and a touch of green) :) ; Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes :)

So, it kind of took on a life of its own but I really enjoyed getting off my beaten track and making such an unusually coloured and different card :) I'd love to know what you think as I'm often unsure about things when they are so far from my norm!! :) I also made some little earrings to go with it so will try to share those soon-ish... but here's a sneaky peek for you...  :)

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my last cards- I'm still struggling with leaving comments because of energy levels and some pain in my hands again (thank goodness my Speech Recognition software has decided to behave or I'd not have got this done!! :) ) but I am still checking out your posts from my phone (which also makes it harder to comment as a lot of blogs seem to crash the internet on it :S) and am very grateful for all the fab inspiration you share!! :)

Teddy Bo’s come out to play... :)

Hey Bloggers!! :)

I have a quick share for you today and it's my first card featuring the lovely Teddy Bo :) I've been having probs with using digis for a while as my printer ink suddenly started smearing when I tried to colour- think they must've changed the ink formulation as I was still using the same card and PMs as had always worked in the past... grr!! Anyway, after some very lovely people answered my plea for advice, I tried some different cardstock- something I've been meaning to do to see if it helped with my colouring anyway- and it's all good again... so I've been buying up digis I've had my eye on for ages but not bothered with 'cause of the printer... and one of them was this cutie, which I printed off, coloured and got made up into a card in less than an hour last night... you know now it’s gonna be CAS, right!?!lol :)

The theme over at the Teddy Bo & Co. Challenge this time is, of course, CAS, which is right up my street and I always think these images suit the style so well... so I thought I'd have a go :) I designed the whole panel in my graphics program, adding the frame and greeting to the image- I erased the white edges of the image around Bo where he was overlapping the frame.

I coloured in PMs and was very brave in trying to colour him brown... blending browns is something I've always been terrible at from my first attempts with PMs over 18 months ago, every time I think I've got better with blending generally and I'll try again, it still looks awful... which is why I usually take the easy way out and make my bears grey!!lol Now, I think there's still huge room for improvement but, given all the above and that it's my first try with a Teddy Bo, I think he's come out quite well... well enough that I'm prepared to share and actually make my image into a card at least!!lol

{{ Now I’ve actually remembered that to post a card I need to have taken and edited pics of it- seriously nearly had this ready to hit publish before I thought of that earlier... will teach me to get carried away writing the post on my phone before lunchtime, which is the absolute earliest my M.E.-addled brain will function!! :S – I must add that the tidemarks from the Sandstone PM- always my biggest issue with blending browns but I love the tone it gives!!- don’t look nearly so obvious irl as on these pics!! ;S }}

The List:

  • 6"x6 Sq. white base card
  • White blending card
  • Teddy Bo digi image - No. 049, Just For You
  • ProMarkers and FlexMarkers: Bo's fur- Pastel Beige, Sandstone, Caramel, Cocoa; jumper and hat band- Khaki, Pear Green, Moss, Caramel; hat- Khaki, Caramel; flower- Antique White (FM), Pale Blossom (FM), Blossom, Soft Mauve (FM), between lines in frame- Blossom
  • Crystal Stickles and Clear Stardust pen
  • Pale Purple flat-backed pearls
  • Fonts for sentiment: Andalus, Blackjack

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges: Teddy Bo & Co. - CAS :) ; OSCC - No Designer Papers :) ; Paper Sundaes - Sundae Bar ('sparkle' on my 'flower' which is part of the image if that's okay?!) :)

So, thanks for stopping by today... I hope you like my little creation!! :) I have pile of digis printed off to play with now that I can finally use them again and I'm having so much fun working on my colouring with them- and now I know I can colour these gorgeous bears passably I'm certain my collection of TBs will be growing soon!!lol :) :) I also have another card inspired by several challenges that I hope I'll be able to get posted in time... I'm feeling really inspired at the mo', which is so lovely... just need more energy and a little less pain so my body has half a chance of keeping up with my mind for creating and posting it all!!lol Anyway, hope you're all well and having a good week so far... and not getting to wet or blown about as we are here, though the sun's actually shining right now (as I wrote this earlier- it's now blowing a gale again!!lol) even if it is still so cold!! :)

Christmas Raven and a Colour Challenge at My Partner in Crafting Crime...

Hello everyone!! :)

It's Monday and time for another fab challenge over at My Partner in Crafting Crime!! :) This fortnight it’s a Colour Challenge and we have a gorgeous colour palette to inspire you from the rather lovely Design Seeds site...

You need to use at least three of the colours to enter but the more of them you can use the better!! :)

I'd never heard of Design Seeds before this challenge but I think I'll be popping back quite often as there are so many gorgeous colour palettes to help spark off new ideas... I struggle with colour and don't have much confidence in mixing new combos so this sort of thing is great for me!! :)

We are sponsored this time by the fab Bows & Berries Digital Stamps Shop and the lucky winner will be able to choose three digis from the shop!! :)

So, onto my card:

I seriously need to get a move on with my Xmas cards and these colours seemed great for making a slightly different looking one :) I altered a couple of my own digi papers to the right shades- or so I thought... forgot that blues and greens never show true on my comp to the way they'll print so was actually a bit off with the greens :S but I liked it and knew I had PM colours that would work, so I went with it!!lol

I have been trying to improve on my colouring recently and so had been watching some YouTube vids before I set to on this image- the oh so gorgeous Raven from Sugar Nellie which is so lovely to colour! :) - and so I did my best to put what I'd picked up into practise and I'm pretty happy with the results, as another step in the right direction at least... especially as I've never even used these greens or some of the pinks before!! I have a massive collection of pens but, as with our fav clothes, I tend all too often to stick with the same old combos I've had success with before rather than brave trying anything new!!lol

I used the back of a Craftwork Cards Mini Message I didn't think I'd ever use for the greeting and stamped a Lotv greeting on it (just hoping it'd fit as the stamp has it on two lines... and then adding the gem when it was sooo off-centre!!lol). The snowflake charm adds a bit of movement and interest :) I don't know if you can see it very well in the pics but I did distress the edges of the papers just a wee bit before adding a bit of colour with the pink PM from the image and some Stickles :)

I also used one of my lovely new shaped card blanks for the first time, too- I think they make such a difference to a simple card and the shape is perfect with my fav MS Cherish punch!! :)

The List:
  • 6” sq. Elegance white card blank from Craftwork Cards
  • Sugar Nellie image Raven from the Home Grown range, stamped in Memento and coloured with ProMarkers: Coat and Boots- Fuchsia Pink & Pink Carnation; Hat and Cuffs- Maroon & Magenta with Cool Grey 1 over the top to tone down the brightness; Dress- Green, Mint Green and Pastel Green; Hair- Walnut & Cocoa
  • My own design digi papers
  • MS Cherish border punch
  • Craftwork Cards Mini Message (I used the back)
  • LOTV greeting from Xmas stamp sheet
  • Organza Ribbon
  • Snowflake charm and jumps from my jewellery supplies stash
  • Crystal Stickles and Sakura Clear Stardust Pen
  • 4mm gems

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges: Crafter's Companion - Pink & Green :) ; Paper Sundaes – Sundae Bar (I have distressing and plenty of sparkle) :) ; My Time To Craft - Dies and/or Punches :) ; The Secret Crafter - Wrap Up Warm (with something knitted) :) ; Crafting When We Can - Christmas Come Early :)

Well, that's about it from me for today!!lol I’m off to finish my step-mum’s birthday card- did most of the creative bits yesterday so just need to assemble it all now... then cross my fingers the posties are nice and quick for me or it’ll be late!! :S Thank you for popping by and thank you for all the lovely comments on my last cards and bracelet!! I particularly appreciate the comments on the bracelet as I know that jewellery isn’t everyone’s cup of tea!!lol I'm thinking though, as people seemed to like seeing it (I hope, anyway!!), that might try to post more jewellery projects when I'm able to make them... I have one or two either finished or in the works so hopefully I can post them soon-ish and there are bound to be more at this time of year!! :) Don't forget to pop over to PCC to see the gorgeous work from the rest of the fab DT- who all managed to use the right shades of green for their cards, too!!lol Hope you’re all well and had a good weekend!! :)

Beads beautiful beads...

Hello again!! :)

I’m back to (properly!) show you the bracelet there was a sneak of in my earlier post- it was made to go with that card for a purple loving friend’s birthday a little while ago but I wasn’t able to post either at the time...

It’s an idea that I’ve seen around in quite a few places and thought these giant (Size 2/0 for those that are familiar with such things!! :) ) seed beads would be perfect for.

It’s very simple and needs only the beads and some large (7mm) jump rings to create... I just made a chain from the jumps and then attached more jumps with beads on them to the chain :) It didn’t take too long to make, either, though opening and closing all those thick and rather stiff jumps was a tad hard on the hands and I’ll do it in even more stages next time!! ;) But that’s the joy of jewellery making- it is much easier than some other crafts to pick up and put down as the mood (or energy/pain level) takes you!! :) Plus, the stash piles to find space for are considerably smaller than for papercrafting!!lol

So very simple that I can’t think of anything else to say to go with all the piccies I took!!lol My excuse is that my camera hates purple beads and none of the pics looked true to colour at the time... but then I found I could get a true colour while I was editing them last night and now I can’t choose which I like best!!lol

This style of bracelet may be simple but it moves really nicely and feels lovely in your hand or on your wrist :)

Well, while I know that most of you are more into cards than jewellery, I hope you’ve enjoyed a bit of a change of scene tonight as much as I enjoyed a change of craft when I made it!! :) There are some more of my jewellery pieces if you click on ‘Jewellery’ in the Labels if you fancy seeing more!! :) Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you leave- I really do appreciate every one :)

Puss in Purple Boots...

Hello everyone!! :)

I wasn’t sure which of the cards I have stored up on my netbook just waiting to share with you I wanted to show next but I realised I had several which would fit perfectly with the Monochrome challenge over at Dream Valley and, in the end, I’ve chosen this one which has a matching gift and was made for a friend- who has a cute little cat called Puss and loves purple as much as me!! :) – a little while ago...

I’ll post the details of the bracelet properly in another post later but I took this pic as they went so well together so thought I’d show it :)

I used the most gorgeous purple papers from the Papermania Henbury Lane pack for this one- I’d been wanting these papers for a long while- mostly because of these beautiful purples!! :) - when I found them half price... and so I bought two!!lol Glad I did as well as they are all lovely!! :)

The adorable image is from LOTV and coloured with PMs- I had just bought some new purples to see if I could get a better blend than I had managed with the shades I had and I coloured several of these images with different combinations- I have since managed to use most of them but I can’t say I was really happy with any of the blends I got- I think this one could have been a bit pinker to go better with the papers :S  ...still, practise makes perfect, as they say, and I think I’ve managed better since so at least I’m heading in the right direction!!lol Great stamp to practise on, too with the nice open area in the boot with some soft folds to aim for- must have another go with it!! :) Oh, I also tried the dotty shadow technique I’d been seeing a lot of around Blogland at the time- I like it... but boy was it hard on the hands and long winded!! Maybe not for everyday, anyway!!lol

I inked the edges of all the layers a tiny bit with Dusty Concorde DI straight from the pad and added the little bit of seam binding and a pretty pearl slider in the darker shade to match the ink and provide some contrast :)

The gems are some beautiful Aroura Borealis coated ones I got from Crafty Emma’s along with the CLP sentiment stamp in the summer and they go perfectly with these papers :)

I used:

  • 6” Sq. Card blank
  • LOTV Puss in Boot image- stamped in Memento and coloured with ProMarkers (don’t remember the colours, I’m afraid, as it was all very hit-and-miss experimental and too long ago!! :S )
  • Papermania Henbury Lane papers
  • Nellie’s rectangle and Doily dies
  • Seam binding from The Ribbon Girl
  • Pearl Ribbon Slider
  • Dusty Concorde Distress Ink
  • Cat’s Life Press sentiment stamp
  • AB coated purple gems
  • Sakura Clear Stardust and Clear Glaze pens

So, all in all, I was really pleased with how this one came out- especially as I’d managed to include so many different things I’d not tried/used before!! :) And, of course, the fact it’s all in my fav purples helped- don’t seem to craft with purples that often!! :) Hope you like it too!! :)

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges: Dream Valley – Monochrome :) ; LOTV - Warm and Cosy (I bet that little kitty’s very cosy tucked up in one of his owner’s best boots!!lol) :) ; Papertake Weekly – Get In Shape (use three or more different shapes- I have rectangles, circles- the doily- and a square for my base) :)

If you’d like to see more of the bracelet then I’ll hopefully be back with that later on tonight- want to get this posted before I miss the challenge though!! :)

Hope you’re all okay and enjoying the weekend so far- it’s been lovely and sunny here all day which always makes things seem better, doesn’t it!?! :)

The Sweetest Snowpeople and time to be inspired at My Partner in Crafting Crime :)

Hello there!! :)

Well, it’s the start of another week- and what a wet, windy and miserable start it’s been!!- and time for our next challenge at My Partner inCrafting Crime!! :) This time we have a fab Inspiration Photo to get your creative juices flowing:

Photo from Pinterest
There are so many ways you could go from this picture- just go and have a look at the variety created by the rest of the fab DT on the PCC blog to see what I mean!! :) You could take the house, colours, the distressed look, wood/bricks, trees,  the autumnal feeling... or so many other possibilities and I can’t wait to see all the different interpretations you come up with!! :) I kind of proved my own point with all the ideas I had for this card- I wanted to go ‘Haunted House-y’ for Hallowe’en but the image I had was a digi and I’m having an ongoing argument with my printer at the mo’ (ink keeps smearing when I try to colour :( ) so that couldn’t happen, then I thought I’d try a new home card, but it just wasn’t working out... so I wasn’t sure where to go next- until I happened across some gorgeous MME papers buried on my desk which had all the colours in the pic and a fab sketch from the Sugar Bowl... and idea number three took hold!! :) We are sponsored by the fab Bows & Berries again this time and the winner will get to chose three of their gorgeous images!! :)

Now, I must say, it didn’t really come out the way I’d imagined and I’m not altogether sure if I like it- I think that may be because the colour combo is so far out of my usual comfort-zone (I only tend to use red with black and white for a start!!lol) but that’s the fun of challenges, isn’t it- to push yourself a bit?!! :)

I just had to have this fab image from Sugar Nellie’s recent Christmas release- it makes me smile every time I see it... think it’s the snowman’s twiggy hair that does it but the whole image is just so sweet!! :) I coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers- the Flexs made it so much easier to get a paler shade on the snowmen, too :) I find it tricky to use so many colours in an image as I find it hard to get a balance of colour but I tried to think before I coloured a lot more this time and, while I don’t love it and it took a lot longer, I do think it’s worth trying it this way again!! :) I of course added plenty of Stickles and Clear Stardust to it to get a real snowy sparkle!!  Have ordered some Glamour Dust, too, as I keep seeing it used and, if it can look so good in people’s pics, it should be amazing in real life!! Hope so- and hope the postie gets a wriggle on so I can use it on my next snowy card!!lol

All the papers came from the same MME Snowed in pad- free with a mag last month and it’s utterly gorgeous!! :) - and this greeting is also cut from one of the sheets with a teeny gem and some glitter to add interest :) The snowflake were cut on my Cricut and spritzed with shimmer mist :)

This pic is just to show the Stardust pen better on the snowmen's bodies- I drew on a line of pen then quickly smudged it out with my finger for a more subtle effect :)

The List:

  • 6” Sq. cream card blank
  • Christmas Garland image from Sugar Nellie’s Home Grown range, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa
  • ProMarkers and Flexmarkers: (there were a lot of them and I don’t remember which colours were for which areas in some cases but I’ll list the combos I do remember!!lol) Snowmen- Soft Aqua (FM), Tea Green and Powder Blue and a Copic Blender then Antique White FM all over to tone down the white a bit; Leaves- Pear Green, Moss Forest Green and Gold (in different orders/amounts for the holly and the mistletoe); Decorations and hat- Berry Red, Cardinal Red, Burgundy and Honeycomb, Tulip Yellow, Gold and Honeycomb, Cinnamon and Cocoa. I have a few others in my box but don’t know what I used them for!! :S
  • Distress Inks: Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen around the image and more AL on all the paper edges, snowflakes and ribbon
  • My Mind’s Eye Snowed In paper pad
  • Lables One Nesties
  • Scissors to distress the papers
  • Cream Seam Binding
  • Snowflakes cut on my Cricut from the ‘When It’s Cold Outside’ cartridge
  • Perfect Pearls Pearl shimmer mist
  • Stardust and Frosted Lace Stickles, Clear Stardust and Clear Glaze Sakura pens
  • Pearls and gems

I’d like to enter this card in the following challenges: The SugarBowl - great sketch by Gayle :) ; Stamptacular Sunday – So Distressing! :) ; AGem of a Challenge – With Love at Christmas (with a heart) :) ; CES – Seeing Red (I hope there’s enough red here- it’s a lot for me!!lol- but if not then please delete me!! :) ) :) ; Little Claire’s – Christmas :) ; OSCC – Anything Goes :) ; Secret Crafter – Anything Goes as long as it Sparkles!! :) ; Winter Wonderland – Autumn Colours :)

Thanks for popping by today and for all the lovely comments on my last cards!! :) Hope the rotten weather didn’t spoil anybody’s weekends too badly!! :S Certainly ‘Monday’ kind of weather today, isn’t it!?!lol Let’s hope the sun comes back soon!! :) Will hopefully be back again soon with another couple of the cards I’ve been wanting to post but this week’s shaping up to be as hectic as last so we’ll see!! :S Please do pop over to PCC to check out all the inspirational ideas from that one photo!! :)
