Forever Friends for Valentine’s Day...

Hello again!! :)

No, I’ve not gone mad and started making Valentine’s cards for next year already-although frankly, the speed this year's gone by already maybe I should!! :S - these are a couple I actually made for a box that my mum took to a works thing to sell last year... but I rediscovered them in a folder on my computer a few weeks ago and realised that I still really liked them so thought I’d share them!! :) Please excuse the less than fabulous photography, though- this was well before I started blogging so was only taking pics for my own reference at the time!! :S ;)

I also thought they’d give me a chance to share my little bit of exciting news from earlier this week when I found out that I’ve been chosen to be part of the Forever Friends Challenge Blog DT!! Yay- so exciting!! :) And thank you, Sande for choosing me!! :) There are two teams for two challenges- Fortnightly and Monthly- and I’m on the Monthly team :) There’s a real variety of great styles and talent on the teams so please pop over to the Forever Friends blog to have a look!! :)

The cards are very simple- at the time I was just thinking that I needed some more cards in a hurry to add a bit of variety to the box but this was the start of my love of FF images within CAS designs- though not sure I’d even heard of the term CAS back last January... blogging has thrown a lot of confusing terms my way and taught me a lot in a very short time!!lol I coloured the images with Whispers Brush Markers as it was also ‘Before Promarkers’- blogging has also increased my crafty spending by introducing me to so many ‘must have’ items!!lol- then just some black paper and silver mirri to mat, a bit of gorgeous dotty wrapping paper and some Woodware Jane’s Script sentiments!! :)

So, that’s my little share for today- thanks for popping by and I hope you’ll like them!! :) Thanks also for the lovely comments on my last cards- think I’ll be going back to that sketch soon!! :) Oh- and the Mother’s day card has progressed considerably but I’ve hit another brick wall today... it’s okay, but it needs ‘something’... I just have no clue what- good job mums are pre-programmed to like what you make for them, eh!! :S If it works out, I’ll share it with you soon!!lol Have a good weekend!! :)

hugs,
